UniFi Protect supports AI detection features such as identifying people and vehicles, with advanced options depending on the camera and any required AI accessories. Its AI processing can take place on premises. Configuration, scene conditions and model compatibility determine what is available.
We plan camera placement, recording retention and who can access the system. Recognition features need an appropriate privacy review and should not be treated as infallible.
See Ubiquiti’s AI feature matrix ↗When a camera disappears from the recorder, replacing it may not solve the underlying fault. Hotel CCTV troubleshooting starts with the IP network: camera addressing, switch ports, PoE, cabling and communication with the recorder. We help identify what is failing and plan the next step around the existing system.
For new or upgraded camera networks, we assess connectivity, power, recording requirements and access permissions. Compatible Ubiquiti UniFi Protect options can include AI-assisted detection, with features depending on the camera and software. Coverage, retention and any sensitive detection features need to be considered for the property before installation. Support is agreed against the camera, recorder and network equipment in use.
