HILLSNET / HOSPITALITY SOLUTIONS

Know sooner. Respond smarter.

Small signals can make a big difference to hotel operations. Hillsnet brings room sensors, connectivity and practical alerts into a tailored IoT package, helping your team spot issues earlier and understand conditions across the property.

BUILT AROUND YOUR HOTEL

How we can help.

A phased approach, from a practical pilot to a supported rollout.

Room occupancy indication

Use suitable presence sensors and door contacts to help indicate whether a room is in use. We validate placement and detection behaviour in a pilot; sensor status complements your team and PMS rather than confirming a booking or a cleaned room.

Leak detection & alerts

Place leak sensors at agreed risk points such as bathrooms, sinks and plant areas. Route alerts to the responsible team so potential leaks can be investigated promptly.

Temperature & humidity

Monitor room conditions and trends, with thresholds that help flag unusual readings. Give maintenance a clearer starting point when investigating comfort complaints or excess humidity.

One practical IoT package

Combine selected sensors, gateways, a dashboard and agreed notification routes. We plan network separation, access, battery checks and ongoing support; Wi-Fi or LoRaWAN options depend on the site and devices.

HOSPITALITY EXPERTISE

Hotel room monitoring with a practical response behind it.

Smart Hotel IoT is useful when a sensor reading leads to an action your team can take. Leak alerts need a responsible recipient, temperature trends need context and occupancy indications need to be tested in the room layout. We start with those operational questions before proposing devices or a dashboard.

A package can combine presence or door sensors, water leak detectors, temperature and humidity monitoring, gateways and agreed notification routes. Sensor indications do not confirm a room is booked, clean or ready for a guest. We validate detection and coverage in a pilot, then discuss access permissions, reporting, battery maintenance and support before extending the system across the property.

THE GOAL

A clearer picture of your rooms. A practical next step for your team.

Start with a room assessment, choose a sensor package, then validate it in a pilot before rollout. Your proposal sets out hardware, monitoring, alert handling and support.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before we begin.

Can we start with a few rooms?

Yes. A small pilot lets us test coverage, occupancy detection, alert routing and staff workflows before extending the package across your hotel.

Will this automatically control heating or update our PMS?

Monitoring is the starting point. HVAC control, housekeeping workflows and PMS integration are separate options, subject to system compatibility and an agreed project scope.
